Specific Health Checkups/Specific Health Guidance

The Western Digital Technologies Health Insurance Association provides insured persons and dependents from age 40 to age 74 with Specific Health Checkups and Specific Health Guidance. The focus of the health checkup is on metabolic syndrome (visceral fat obesity), and its aim is the prevention and improvement of lifestyle diseases. If an examination indicates that an insured person has metabolic syndrome, or pre-metabolic syndrome, a public health nurse, dietitian, or other medical professional provides guidance on how to review and improve their lifestyle.
Please undergo a specific health checkup once each year to look over the condition of your health and prevent lifestyle diseases.

Prevention of Lifestyle Diseases

Improving the lifestyles of people who have metabolic syndrome or pre-metabolic syndrome, which are deeply associated with the onset of illness, is essential to preventing lifestyle diseases.
Because of this, specific health checkups and specific health guidance focus on metabolic syndrome and include:

  1. A physical examination to identify individuals who require health guidance
  2. Health guidance to help individuals improve their lifestyles

Please actively take advantage of health checkups and health guidance as a good opportunity for insured persons and dependents to consider health and lifestyle.

Post-examination Specific Health Guidance

Insured persons and dependents age 40 or older undergo healthcare guidance to prevent lifestyle diseases which focuses on metabolic syndrome.
The risk of lifestyle disease is assessed based on the results of a comprehensive medical examination. The individuals who receive health guidance are divided into three levels. The Western Digital Technologies Health Insurance Association continually collects and stores data about health checkups and healthcare guidance. The use of this data enables the health insurance association to implement effective and efficient health checkups and healthcare guidance.
Insured persons and dependents can use this information to not only prevent illness and promote health but also as an opportunity to create a healthier lifestyle.
